Stonebay
I had the pleasure of shooting another up and coming indie Malaysian band, Stonebay.
On the first day of Ramadhan, no less. To see how dead-beat I was during the shoot, see my good buddy, Ena’s blog here.
And it rained. Although it doesn’t show in the photo (except, maybe for that umbrella) i feel that it lent to the whole aura of the picture. The rain.

Went over to Loco Photography studio to chill. Ended up having a shoot-out. In hand were a Nikon D700 and a Canon 5D. Both lovely full frame DSLRs.
I’m feeling a bit tonggang terbalik now after trying out both. I do plan on upgrading to full frame gear but I really can’t pick one over the other. Both has its ups and downs. I won’t dwell on their features. You can google it.

Jamiroquai Concert @ Malaysian Grand Prix, 2009
We reached there during the hard rain and just as the race was stopped. So no F1 race car eye and ear candy for us. Boooo…!
Received an umbrella in the LG goodie bag which came to no good use since all of us were already drenched. Gladly gave it away to a couple of friends I bumped into who were surprisingly dry. They then happily galloped out of the tent with the umbrellas in the rain....
